But I can’t see it. Why would he. He’s a highly talented artist with a fantastic career. And he can create significant sums for charity while still keeping his anonymity. He has shown no indication to enjoy celebrity status, so what would be his alternative? I think it would be impossible for him to stop being creative so what would it benefit to work under a new name, real or not? Either he would be unknown or be forced out of anonymity.

I adore his art and truly hope we can all enjoy surprises from him for many years to come
Regarding original/reproduction I thought the Herne Bay piece I.e the curtains were recovered and used in the piece that's all 🙂

I compared the curtains... and in fact they are the ones used previously. I am 100% certain on this point.
I think he recovered them to use them in this show. Faile said on instagram... it will be goodbye or the end of something. But he didn't specify what.
We will know on August 28, 2023 after midnight.
Until then... just guesses. ;-)

I traveled from Belfast and my early morning flight (to get a walk in ticket) was cancelled and i didn't get into the city till maybe 5 in the afternoon and got a walk in ticket for 8pm.
That is the most inspiring art I have seen in a long long time.
I went on my own and I burst out laughing numerous times, sometimes to the bemusement of people around me.
There was lots to admire there but a big stand out was the stencil of the Heavy Weapons elephant that I used to see around Stokes Croft all those many many years ago.
But, fuck it was all great.
That was a long journey over a small space and very very worth it.

Bit of a rocky journey as our return flight got canceled and I was initially moved to another flight taking off from Edinburgh ! Very busy for a monday morning (9.45am) which is actually not an issue as makes you just walk slowlier inside and fully enjoy every stencil. Friendly staff. Only (small) frustration was that the Ballerina stencil was not on display ;-)
