I’ve just booked flights and official airport parking return from BHX > GLA for cheaper than the train tickets, flight time is 1h10 VS 6hr train with 2 changes and risk of strike cancellations. It’s a no brainier! |

I had a similar issue when i went with strikes affecting my return train times, meaning I'd possibly miss my slot. I emailed cut and run customerservices@cutandrun.co.uk and they cancelled my original ticket and rebooked one for me.

Would love to go again but don’t think it’s possible. Was hard to take Everything in but loved it. Amazing insight into his work and life.

It was interesting to see the small changes they have made since the first day. Spoke to one of the staff who reckoned there may be more changes at the very end when I said I will be returning on the final day (but maybe I read more into it than there will be).
Gift shop is fully stocked and they had stacks left. I didn’t bother with books and posters as I got them last time so I just helped a few members out getting them some t-shirts.
Unfortunately, no Cut & Run stickers anymore as they run out but I’m sure I can cope. 😀

is it a big show ?
I mean everybody is showing the room ( that I appreciate ) , but how many installations ( the meat truck per example ) or / and stencils there are ? 50, 70 ( I think ) hundreds ?
Which pieces or artworks are the most original or impressive ?
Which one per example do you like to see and see it again ?
I'm trying to make an idea of what I’m missing .. Visits take one hour or two ?

I spent most time in the main hall with the large stencils (where they also take Polaroids) but my favourite part is a large frame with dozens of small preliminary pen and pencil sketches / original concept ideas. I really hope you can make it for the 28th Aug so we can catch up, but I will drop you a PM as well. |

The way he had made the stencils into standalone works of art rather than tools, blew my mind. Totally recommend this to anyone and everyone. Now having the best fish & chips I’ve ever had at CATCH. Stopping by Edinburgh before going back to Sweden tomorrow night. Any recommendations for art related stuff there are most welcome.
Went today with my daughter. What a show!!! The way he had made the stencils into standalone works of art rather than tools, blew my mind. Totally recommend this to anyone and everyone. Now having the best fish & chips I’ve ever had at CATCH. Stopping by Edinburgh before going back to Sweden tomorrow night. Any recommendations for art related stuff there are most welcome.

Would have been ace to see a stencil skeleton like all of them together all layered up to see the complete process and how many they actually need to make the work
