I'll get back to PM's a little later but it seems I probably didn't make it clear enough on the Sandra....the Chevrier is an Original 1/1, it is NOT a print

The DalEast has been a popular one but unable to establish a price....last recorded sales on EB were $2.8k and $3k in 2014 so I would be looking at a similar price range
I've dropped the price of the penny to Β£450, it will come in one of the penny presentation boxes too

James Cauty π¬π§ The KLF β’ Artist & Musician , by Sturban Has Saggy Tits on Jan 21, 2017 12:23:15 GMT 1, I like the shields and I like Cauty, but I would be mighty pissed if I paid a lot of money after Dismaland for one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these have already been released as two editions and now an unlimited edition, with no apparent differences. Surely if there is a demand for another release, at least make some changes to the editions.

I am sure the ltd ed were Β£500, in which case these should be a fair bit less!

That's crazy! Eelus got a lot of grief for releasing the neisbaw in a lenticular, but at least he used a different medium. I don't get it, a bit money grabbing for my liking. Move on, make some smiley riot helmets or something.

James Cauty π¬π§ The KLF β’ Artist & Musician , by Art Fan 2011 on Jan 21, 2017 14:17:44 GMT 1, I get that, but if id paid Β£1k for a shield a few weeks ago, and now he churns out 100`s at Β£600 I would be more than a little annoyed! Also anyone who paid high prices on the secondary has just seen the "value" of there`s shield fall dramatically overnight.

James Cauty π¬π§ The KLF β’ Artist & Musician , by 11 on Jan 21, 2017 14:48:22 GMT 1, Prior to Dismaland the SRS series had reached about no.10 (SRS10 - this is SRS17)
By that time the shields were produced as open editions.....then Dismaland happened and all open editions disappeared......Then the dismaland edition appeared (of 60) and i think they were Β£650. Since then he has continued to produce the SRS series, each time there were slight differences in size of eyes and mouth or distance apart to ensure each edition is different from the last.
I have an edition of 10 (SRS6) and I'm fine with him doing an open edition at Β£600.....its absolutely his prerogative and if you look at Cautys history and motivations he isn't doing it to cash-in.....he's actually doing things like funding the movement of his dislocation principle exhibition around the country so people get to see it free of charge.
Artists have to work and make money like the rest of us. These shields clearly continue to sell and are in demand otherwise he would have stopped them long ago so i say good luck to him.
