Step 1 - Offer the art you own to the most amount of people possible, burn the living crap out of the image and pretend that I own it.
Step 2 - If there is interest, then go back to you and cry the blues that I need a better price, images in situ.
Step 3 - If you buy my sob story, then go back to my potential buyer with an aggressive price and tell them I am looking for quick payment.
Step 4 - Once my buyer goes quiet, then I ghost you.

I think people are trying to offer a bit of advice. First thing, you weren’t scammed. Buyers dropping out on the forum happens all the time. It’s annoying, but it’s not someone trying to be fraudulent.
You’ve clearly taken the messages one way, but if you read through them, there’s numerous red flags that would have indicated the sale might not happen. He literally says he doesn’t have funds a couple of times, that he has to sell other works to raise the cash, that he needs to wait until for another 3 weeks before he’s in a position to purchase. That’s enough to indicate to 90% of forum member to take what’s being said with a pinch of salt and not rely on it being completed.
Best thing to do is to just let the thread slide down the pages and repost to give it a fresh start.

So try to understand what happened stop bullying an honest seller that have asked numerous time to focus on the sale and nothing else.
