The January email was not supposed to be sent until tomorrow evening. It seems that I am a bit out of the loop :-( The one being sent out tomorrow has the prices on so is slightly different to the first PDF. The queues are brutal.

If you go to the Louvre there is the Seth exhibition just one street beside at Le Musée en Herbe. You can eat inside the Louvre too. Problem is that the Louvre is an expensive museum ( 23 e for an adult ).. I have a friend working there, he has done it by the past, but I don’t know if he can still help nowadays… Very crowdy but a nice place , with Orsay near, and Fluctuart boat just on the other side of La Seine, near Orsay. Great place there ! ( there is Also the Opera transformed by JR but it’s a bit more far, and well it’s not amazing at all in real.. fluctuart.frfluctuart.fr

This is Paris, he has thousands of fans there waiting for this, it would be chaos. But the fact you need to book timeslots for this tells me they're probably not dropping the prints at the show.
What they might do is the same thing they did with the limited 4000 book, sign up for a lottery at the spot, then do the draw when it's all over, in May. Maybe throw some or half of it online for the rest of the world.
I already planned to be there 15/19th of February, what I didn't plan on was that being the Opening weekend. Getting timeslots will be a challenge but I'll make it work.
Also, I'd like to add that I'd be perfectly fine with just the exhibition, which is looking like the best thing ever, even without all the books, tat and prints that are coming. That said, I'll be sure to bring euro's for the sticker machines.. 😎

I don't want to make a big deal about the whole bed bugs thing (we all have problems), but don't forget to invest in one of those luggage stands to keep your suitcase on in your rented accommodation. Maybe put bands of double-sided tape around the legs of the stand. Also, instead of sleeping in a strange bed, prop yourself up in the corner of the room and stay awake all night. They can't infest you if you're awake and crying.
To everyone making the trip - have fun and please take lots of pictures.
