To anyone who think it’s ok to drop blatant or even thinly veiled racism and antisemitism into their posts on this forum. Everyone sees you. We know what you are. Robo, can you not do that? Let's both agree that there are some balance issues in this thread. The comment wasn't in that ballpark. There is a profound difference between Israeli policy and the worldwide religion. Whether the assertion was correct or not, it was directed toward Israel's policies, not the people as a whole. I think we are in a difficult period and it would be great if a country's policies and an entire diverse religion's beliefs remained discrete.
His comment was not about the Israeli government, or Israeli government policy. It was about the "Israeli way of thinking" which refers to the people, and he makes negative generalisations about them (and his next sentence talks about such people losing their money). His intention at best reads as an offensive generalisation about Israeli people (who in truth are diverse in their opinions and even ethnicity) and at worst a thinly veiled reference to Jewish people.
I also imagine he isn't aware that though Israel is the only Jewish country in the world, its population is actually 21% Arab and only 73% Jewish (yup, not very "apartheid").
Substitute any other country there and if it sounds offensive, it is offensive. So with respect, sadly, I cannot "not do that".

Anyway, the ship is going down and the investment scam will be exposed. 2024 will be no country for old men. We're off to open some more doors that were maliciously shut by greedy Banksy and his vile associates. Don't really know what else to say, there's some awkward threads on this forum from here (We done enough damage for now I guess ) Have a nice day folks

Thank you for clarifying. I take it you've understood from what happened on Oct 7th what that "problem" was. I'd say it wasn't a great comparison to bring into your argument.
I'm a big fan of Banksy, but that doesn't mean I like all of his work. His understanding of Middle Eastern politics is limited, as the work you linked shows (and the article explains well). If, when he went to Gaza, Hamas supporters had known he created Kissing Coppers, Queen Vic, and the Reading Prison piece, or that he supports LGBTQI+ rights, they'd have murdered him.

Auction?... Who can assure you that it is the original! Banksy's Pest Control will never do it. Only an idiot could buy it under these conditions.
Maybe at the next exhibition as you say? It might as well be! But I think Banksy won't have another solo exhibition. His life is on the street. He made the canvases and all the other things only to make this artistic ferment that is Street Art great.
I would like to shake this person's hand, to tell him that he has done something extraordinary, and that from his dream of becoming an ever better person came everything that today in the world recognizes as STREET ART, that is, the Art of the century!.. Street Art and Graffiti Art will be remembered for many years in the future!... We, our direct descendants and many generations to come will pass, but these two currents of thought in art will survive.
I would really like to have a time machine like a DeLorean DMC-12, to be able to see what this artistic period will leave for future generations.
