The requirement to DM wont deter any genuine buyer (and no doubt some genuine non buyers) and with it being unique a potential buyer may not want it to be on public display.
It used to be the norm on here that as soon as any item that was a bit different / rare / unusual was sold on the forum that all pics were deleted.

Absolutely normal (as Lazarus said) when selling a valuable and/or unique piece to send pictures to interested parties privately and to discuss price with them privately. This is as much for the benefit of the buyer as it is the seller. The eventual buyer may well wish to keep private what they bought and how much was paid for it. Noting unusual here. Any potential buyer of such an item will no doubt do their due diligence.

Yes, seller may lose a potential sale (though for a Condo probably not).
But it has to be the sellerโs decision, Iโd have thought.
My point is only that such an approach is not uncommon and didnโt deserve any derision.
