And then once those people have the affordable vases, they want the artist to stop putting out so much work, in order to protect the market value of the vases. They also want his work to be hard to get, once they have theirs, and to have the constant threat of the Chinese government looming large in the background. I think that's what people want. That and sunflower seeds.
I'm sure that in spring 2024, I too will have my own vase. I want it orange! The one, which Ai Weiwei had previously published at his exhibition in a display case.
Each of us less fortunate must have our own Ai Weiwei vase.
I also hope in many different colors. ๐ค

They are Murano glass vases.
Murano glass is Italian.
An Italian product cannot be counterfeited by the Chinese.
A Murano product is counterfeited at home.
In Naples you will also find a counterfeit Chinese one made in Naples.
An original product is always a quality product. 
*The screen printing is also a good artwork by Ai Weiwei.
The lunar year begins.
