Miss Bugs • They'll Rip Out Your Heart, by Harveyn on Apr 26, 2008 22:02:13 GMT 1, I have to say between MB and SPQR I really think its so exciting that great works can be found at reasonable prices.
Great piece from a great artist duo.
The key for all these artists are to remain grounded and grow their fan base. It can be a rapid rise in the current market place but with the right attitude and the talent success will prevail. One thing I cannot have at the early stages of these artists careers (not MB or SPQR) is the speak to my gallery / agent attitude. Its a long, rapid fall in this fickle market.

Bang on Neil. In my dealings with SPQR and MB they have all come across as fucking lovely people who really give a shit. Long may it continue....
ps - I like the framing on your Dog Save The Queen - I considered buying (still might) an Imbue because I thought it would look good in a perspex like that, with pink highlight, based on your Neate...

Very well said harveyn. I'll add agent provocateur to MB and SPQR as he's a talented lad and a gent to deal with. It is indeed a long way down.

SPQR, Neverwork, Jef Aerosol, Copyright, Rourke, Imbue, Rene Gagnon, Replete and more (sorry to those not mentioned) are all contactable through this forum at the moment and putting some lovely work out there at reasonable prices imo, not to mention that from their inputs to the threads, members' reactions to them and all the contact I've had with any of them, they all seem like extremely approachable and decent peeps to deal with. I think we're very spoilt really!

Miss Bugs • They'll Rip Out Your Heart, by They call me Stephen on Aug 19, 2010 10:58:30 GMT 1, Looking to sell my Miss Bugs ‘They’ll Rip Your Heart Out’ from the heady days of ’08.
Pretty early print for Miss Bugs and still one that gets a fair bit of mention. I’ve moved it around my flat numerous times but think it no longer goes with my collection so is time to move on to a more loving house.
The print is from an edition of 30 and has quite a bit of hand finishing around the lower half of the subject. I am unsure of the size but think it is slightly smaller than 50x70. Can confirm later.
Due to the thickly applied nature of the hand finishing I do not want to roll the print and am happy to include the frame it is currently in if collected (uv glass etc etc).
£350…talk to me

Miss Bugs • They'll Rip Out Your Heart, by Heavyconsumer on Aug 19, 2010 22:52:27 GMT 1, Lovely print, probably my favourite piece of theirs and certainly my favourite of those I missed out on. Always very tricky to photograph all the hand finishing on these too, especially once behind glass. They're MUCH more impressive in person when you can see all the details. Good luck with the sale.
