I also have a pair of Ink&WCs by Max Murgia but can find next to nothing about him. Pretty disturbing stuff but very well executed. One is entitled "F*ck*ng Bankers" (w/o the asterisks!) dated 2008. I wonder what influenced him for that???

I am thinking about selling a Karel Appel Schilderskist case. It is from a serie of 300 from the 70's, with 7 silkscreens and a sculpture. The case itself has a silkscreen in the cover. All silkscreens are in generally good condition, except for one with a light corner damage. All have some glue traces from being previously framed. The book has some signs of humidity in the first page but the remaining ones are very good. The sculpture is in good condition as well. Does anyone knows the price of these cases?

I have an oil painting dating back to the mid to late 1800's , it depicts Columbus , it hung at the MET , it hung at the Chicago worlds fair , they made stamps based on it.

He drew it for me during a break on his latest piece in Sheffield, its also been done from his own sketchbook if that means anything at all.
Its being framed right now, so when i get it back next week ill put a photo of it framed on.

I don't think it has any money value but instead it's a great piece of souvenir for a good day you had. Just keep it like this.
I also have many sketch in my travel books from high rate artists but those draw worth only my sentiments. No more 
And if really you wanna know what someone wish to pay for it, put it on the bay.. You'll get a few bucks, maybe more but you'll regret it anyway.

Personally, that seems pretty crazy money for a pretty large run (500) of litho prints and not aware of any changing hands at this sort of money on here. Do you think that this in any way realistic?
I was just going to get it in one of those Habitat frames but now wondering if it should be something a bit better...

Thanks for the reply. I think you're spot-on for Christmas/Valentines and I'd say ยฃ350-ยฃ450 seems much more reasonable. I guess I'd probably kick myself more if I damaged it getting it into a cheap frame than I would spending too much on a frame - at least the frame could be re-purposed too if needed as it's a pretty standard poster size. |

For years we have had three canvasses by REQ1, tried uploading pics but no luck! Two of them are 40x50 cm in size and the other is 36x46cm, all are signed and have 'substance 2004' on them, we're looking to rehome these to someone who really appreciates them and was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to value and how and where to start the rehoming process!
