Just like Banksy's artworks, cost of Touquet agreement got a twentyfold price increase, from 12M GBP in 2012 to projected 209M GBP in 2024-2025.... if not more, it seems UK spent about 1.2M GBP per day. And reading the French authority performance report is interesting, UK spend more and more while French authority performance rate hasn't changed in 10 years 
It may sound like a scam but UK is fine paying huge sum of money for new infrastructures, offices, etc. in France.

It's what he does and it seems he will continue to consider other forms of art and activism in order to do so. I think it's fascinating these last few pieces, between the stop sign drones, pollarded tree backsplash, even the Palestine hotel from years back, and now this inflatable boat piece, all really unique non-traditional approaches for an artist to take and I think it's inspiring to see and the reactions and attention alone these works have realized are not for nothing
