I guess you can add other costs and stresses to those auction results for the buyer. Expensive shipping, for one thing.
Maybe print only without the book and packaging?
So, a local pick up for £3000 is probably a pretty good and easy deal
(Plus waiting to find the next one at auction and hoping the price hasn't gone up again could be risky)
