Hi all Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, its just taken us a bit of time to get thereplacement print up together. Anyhow, its now been nailed and we're pretty excited about it. It's a take on a pieceI did called 'Monster of Spin' (which some of you may know)... But this specialedition print is one we have been working on with the artist known as Joe Black - acollaboration piece for my solo show. The print comes from the original whichis being produced now... Joe Black loves to make portraits out of thousands of bits and pieces - lego, ball bearings etc etc... Each print is hand finished... Miss (female) is about 5 foot 3
Bugs (male) is about 6 foot 1

depends on the strength of the image but hand embelishment is always a good sign.
and im pretty sure the snow-white image is hand finished too

It's in the e-mail that came in today "Each print is hand finished". TBH, I am happy to receive the replacement print. Snow White is great, but the more often I look at the Lego one the more I like it.

I am biased as I haven't got any MB works yet and this will be my first, coupled with the disappointment of missing out on the recent release. However this image has really grown on me recently. There is this wonderful explosion of colour and I'm loving the fact that there are strong shades of at least 3 currently renowned artists other than those involved in production (Insect-Frankenstine, Hirst-Spin and Dface-wings). I agree with the comment that this piece is somewhat of a departure from other pieces by MB, but although I'm a fan of their work, I don't think that's such a bad thing. I would not want them to work the exact same theme until it became stale, but I think that there is also a definite similaritiy in subject matter to a degree, so perhaps this is an extention to more than a departure from. It's also nice to see the influence of an exterior creative source and that there still exist strong MB hallmarks.
