I dunno Francis, I would say that Cli-che and Pop Tart are excellent quality. It was very surprising that the Street Improvement 3 print was so poor.

Perhaps, it's a bit strange that it was left almost pixellated though.

I haven't seen 3 but 1 looks good. Is there a reason people are knocking these prints? Probably.

Is there a reason why people are talking these prints up? Probably. I don't have a set to sell so I am able to give an honest appraisal.

If I get the chance later then I'll take a picture of what I am talking about and let you decide for yourself.

agreed. don't really care for these. i got si3 and when it turned up was totally disappointed so i sold it for cost+shipping.. however if anyone needs any help on getting these i'll f5 for them.

Maybe it is supposed to look like that but personally I find it really offputting.

Perhaps its supposed to look like one of those rubber stamps that used to be applied to documents? Haven't seen HI3 in the flesh but from the pictures it does seem a bit dull and muted compared to the first 2.

I disagree... this is the weakest set of prints that D*Face has done by quite a way, aside from the shock of him releasing a set of a couple of year old images as his "new" prints (well, maybe that isn't so much of a shock) they are some of the weaker works he has done.

I think the people talking them down has less to do with prices than the fact they are staid

We have been drowning in a sea of remixed images and dragging up old tired work from years back which weren't particularly inspiring back then (meaning the SI serise), and we as fans are to show support? Wheres our support from him? Just f**kin lazy and the taste of money has not helped him!!!!

A rather strange perspective really, or perhaps a rather predictable one. This is a forum that I come to to learn about and express my views on art and a genre of it that comprises some of my prefered artists. I have no duty to be dishonest in my reaction to any piece or the artist who created it. I think this series by DFace is poor, boring, unadventurous and dull to behold.

The only reason you could have for begrudging my expression of that view is probably your own "investment interests." Well sorry, I'm not bothered what happens to D's print values on ebay. I've no idea whether the artist himself cares much either. I assure you I have no interest in buying anything DFace from what I've seen so far, because either I dislike it, or where that isn't the case, I can buy work I prefer for the same money or less.

I think you need to look up hatred in the dictionary! There's none on this thread. Far more unreasonable than expressing disliking a piece, is defending the work based on the name of the artist, rather than it's merit imo.

i hope all the negativity gives me a better chance to get one
