Banksy hasn't split from Laz ( bearing in mind, the person who told it to me has had a long running anti-Laz attitude)

Would that be such a bad thing? Quite aside from organisational problems POW seem to be constantly having just look at the artistic results of Sepia Morons. I don't know what Banksy's opinion of it was, but if I was him I'd have been furious to see so many variations over 300 prints (was it 3 shades in total?).
Now, imagine for example Banksy's art + BRP's skills. That would be class.

Hmm... I suppose, in qualification of my earlier post, there are also those things to applaud POW for, no doubt. I wasn't having a dig at POW but don't see any need for Banksy to remain tied to POW (or Laz for that matter.. as was the initial thing this thread was about).

I agree, they have done a lot of good things - Bethlehem while being an excellent venture gained them both a huge amount of publicity.
As for POW I think in the last year they have sold out a lot of poor prints purely because they are POW. And whilst POW are not just about Banksy, he is what draws the crowds.

As for riding the banksy wave, I was only pointing out that the implication that POW and Laz were utilising Banksy's momentum without any return was, in my opinion, wrong. |

this would leave micallef as their only exclusive 'superstar' while brp has a strong artist list and superior print quality
