Campbarbossa Gallery, by clipit101 on Jun 13, 2008 21:12:45 GMT 1, The Herakut "permission" is one of my favourite prints of all time i think its stunning. Just never got the money when one is up for grabs, so i'll leave on that note and have a little cry.

Campbarbossa Gallery, by nacional on Jun 13, 2008 22:36:43 GMT 1, In this context, for it to be a parody, it must be amusing.
Simply putting handrails on the staircase falls way way short or amusement and does not even make me (or anyone, I would bet) curl up the corner of my mouth in even a wry little grin.
In short, it's lazy, boring and incredibly unimaginative.
Here's some other really shockingly crap things to do that are on a par: put a cctv camera in a landscape, give David a gun, turn a barcode into a cage...errrr....I think I'll get my coat....

Show was great fun Artel, nice to see your bro there too. Thanks soooo much to everyone who went and for making the whole thing such a party like atmosphere. You're a good bunch of guys for sure and we all rocked Brick Lane and had a real laugh.
Right, off to bed already!
PS Thanks Snakes ... Bastard!

Campbarbossa Gallery, by Harveyn on Jun 13, 2008 22:46:13 GMT 1, Could not make the show but the Herakuts as expected looked fantastic. Case's work look outstanding. Sounds like everyone had a great time and how refreshing not to hear all the usual complaints after these events.
Have not heard many comments about the Labrona's. Thought one or two of the Cyclops & Sweet Toof pieces looked wicked but overpriced IMO.
Great work Frankie and all.

Campbarbossa Gallery, by Heavyconsumer on Jun 14, 2008 4:36:11 GMT 1, Looks like I've missed another cracker, except one much more worthy of that title than some others I've moaned about recently for sure. Brilliant mixture of work by the looks of the CB site. If I had the doh, there are a couple of lovleys available on there (still) I'd jump on. Love the look of the Case, Cyclops and Herakut work (not in any order). Jago's new style is really starting to grow on me, but the squiggly stuff id not for me.
Well done Frankie and co for ensuring everyone had such a great time. Not one moan yet!! A record for this forum. I reckon not making a fuss and hyping print releases for ages in advance must be a very positive decision that certain other galleries should learn from. Nice one!
