He said it was much more textured than he anticipated. That does not mean he thought it was going to be no good when he bought it. We all had a fair chance to win it and it is up to him what he does with it. Good luck in the swap.

also, the 'gift' version contains more colour within the image itself. which i liked. By no means is this a terrible print, but to my eyes it's the weakest of the recent lot and vastly overpriced..

Like most people I entered the lottery for several of the pieces offered. I won this one. However, later on I purchased another Faile piece from someone on this forum. Now I have two faile originals. I want a Banksy print. I can put this piece up on Ebay and probably get 2x what I paid for it, buy a Banksy and bank the rest. But I would rather keep it fair. I think a trade for a Banksy print is a fair deal for both parties.
Now, as for the image itself. It looks great in Person. I totally disagree that this is the weakest image out of the bunch. IMO, the crests were not very exciting. The boxer pieces didn't do anything for me either.
I have received many offers from forum members. I really appreciate them all. I will make a decision today.
I understand why some people would be frustrated that I have this up for trade already. Like most people I entered the lottery for several of the pieces offered. I won this one. However, later on I purchased another Faile piece from someone on this forum. Now I have two faile originals. I want a Banksy print. I can put this piece up on Ebay and probably get 2x what I paid for it, buy a Banksy and bank the rest. But I would rather keep it fair. I think a trade for a Banksy print is a fair deal for both parties.

i dont have a problem, i was just commenting on the fact that it was odd to buy something for such a high price and then swapping it on for something of the value days later, but good on the seller for not bumping up the price and offering a good swap

Biggest hypocrite on the board IMO. Thinks it's okay to do it himself (Stop and Search, one of the recent BASTs) but criticizes anyone else that does.
