I am trying to ship a painting to the U.K and am running into some issues with insuring it the full value. It seems that you can only add $650 USD insurance when sent USPS Global Priority.
Does anyone have any alternatives or the best ways to do this?
I would greatly appreciate any and all help everyone! Thank you so VERY much!

If it was going the other way, I'd be able to help Grafffan, there are usually a few US members on during the weekend, so sure someone will be able to give you some US based advice. Good luck, its a minefield. |

Shipping Art to the UK help please..., by bonesy on Oct 19, 2008 16:41:10 GMT 1, You can insure prints for any amount with UPS. I think they have different rules with one of a kinds (paintings). Fed Ex wont insure art. Maybe USPS Express would insure for a higher amount?

I've used USPS one time and the art was lost for 2 months, so I wouldn't go near them...

DHL? Royal Mail? Or Other?
Do you think i could put 4-5 prints in each tube or send only one print per tube? If thats the case, its going to cost me some coin!
