having had a trawl through hungrigs posts on wk, i cannot find the post that lead me to make my previous comment. it would therefore be prudent for me to retract my statement and offer apologies to hungrig.
i would not disagree that hungrigs post are in the main, insightful and intelligently composed, and are therefore a benefit for all,
this though, made it all the more noticiable when (i thought) he engaged in a bit of base inter-forum banter,
all i can tell you is that i definitely read something, and i perhaps mistook hungrigs very distinctive avatar for someone elses.
if hungrig is indeed banned as a result of this then i would ask silky to reinstate, as it is obviously unjust.
once again, apologies to hungrig.

Firstly - Hungrig is a great addition to any forum. He is a knowledgeable collector who is passionate about his art. Its people like him that keep my interest in this scene not the majority of idiots who post useless and trivial rubbish on here.
Secondly - Whether he was banned or not, it has NOTHING to do with HarveyN who is also a genuine collector. Silky runs the forum, HarveyN does not get involved in the crap that goes on. Another forum member we would be sad to lose on here.
Thirdly - RudeCopper acted like a real man. He admitted the errors of his ways and publically apologised. Not many here would do that.

So, can we move on, let Hungrig sell his Micallef's and as A NY resolution.... CHILL OUT!!

Harveyn, Hungrig has emailed me to explain that you did not ban him so I retract my comments and have edited my posts accordingly. However your PM was patronising and unnecessary. Your original post on the subject seemed to suggest that you knew why Hungrig was banned and were not prepared to discuss it, leading me and others to think that you had something to do with it or had some kind of issue with Hungrig.

I'm taking a long rest from this place. I can't stand the hypocrisy a second longer.

hello hn.........im not trying to be negative but i have observed you posting pics in framed art and then a week later offering them said pieces for sale in another thread. when i observed this i was blushed a bit, but hey maybe thats the way things are done round here. the only reason i post this is that as the statement above i to as before have felt your standard. i am not judging anybody just offering a view from the outside.

Etched I have no issues with the comment about selling art. I have a large collection and sometimes an impulsive nature about purchases. I have been very open on WK in saying that I should use the forum more often then just to sell pieces now and then. I made that statement publicly and I have never got involved with the bickering between the two sites.

I can be no more honest than that. 70% of my collection has never moved from my walls.

Its strange that in defending someone who has been banned and who is an active member of WK I should come under scrutiny such as this.

Hungrig is more than happy that I was trying to help him.

Afroken has also been honest enough to state in pm the reasons he accused me of banning hungrig was as a generic blame of moderators on Banksy.info. Unfortunately when someone explicitly states that you are involved in something one tends to take the literal meaning.
