...well except the garage in Queens where the Swoon show was.

If there's a Banksy show at Deitch I doubt they'd give it away to someone on the phone before issuing a press release or simply surprise everyone. Before hearing any of this I remember reading about the guys putting up the NYC Banksy being asked about the project and they alluded that it was just a precursor to something much larger.

Nah Banksy would never show in a gallery. It's not his style. It will definitely be some awesome warehouse somewhere.... Can't wait.

But don't discount the fact that Steve Lazarides has been planning on opening a more or less permanent gallery location in NY, and near the Jonathan Levine Gallery is a likely piece of real-estate - and I would be surprised if he wouldn't "go big" with his first show.

I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art.
