Vera had pleasure of visiting fellow forum members house in Brighton recently and was joy to behold, many Banksy and some Neate and Mic but all on the wall, he was the chap who told me about serial flippers hard at work (he clearly was not one of them).

OK you have to queue up to see if you can get anything BUT It's one of the most democratic art sales in the world, everyone has an equal chance of getting a big name But the identity of the artist is only revealed once the artwork is bought. You could register with POW in advance ie be registered on their mailing list which would prevent you from multiple purchases. Queue up before hand at POW headquarters and when it is your turn in the que pay a set price chose just one number at random and then be handed over a tube with the corresponding No. you have chosen to find out what you had just purchased. Could be Faile, Voucher, EINE, SAM3, Zeus, Dolk,Aiko or if your lucky even a Banksy in fact any number of artists. Now this could be a new sort of SG with All the POW and LAZ artists taking part. You'd never know if you had a Banksy or not until handed the tube.

I'd also love it if they sorted out separate options for originals as well. Perhaps 2 price points, one for prints, one for originals. Prints stuffed in tubes all randomly numbered, originals perhaps all the exact same size, wrapped in brown paper then numbered. Each person can buy up to 4 total pieces (just like RCA) and it's up to the individual to choose whether they'd like originals or prints.

I was just modeling it after RCA, they allow 4 per and you get to pick your art. This method, which I think is fantastic, would have to be totally random as instead of having 2700 individual artworks like RCA you'd have a handful of artists producing multiples. Maybe 2 per instead?
I think the issue is if you are limited to 1 and get stuck with something you dont like, it would be very disappointing. If I got a ZBIOK I would be pretty unhappy as there are quite a few other POW/Laz artists I really DO like that arent Banksy or Faile. I think if it's truly random you should be able to pick more than 1. Just my opinion.

That is a terrible idea. Awful. RCA postcards is benevolence with a blindfold which the punters understand and accept. SG isn't about Banksy, its a collective show.
