Herakut is one of my absolute favs at the moment but I think the prices were a little high. I mean there were barely any pieces under $4k and even some cardboard pieces were $5k if I remember correctly. Curious to see what has sold and if they can demand those prices then good for them.

I think the new work is fantastic. One or two (at most) I was not so keen on, but on the whole, superb. Their subject matter - sweet but disturbing - appeals to me. Their execution is awesome (orriginal meaning of the word, not teenager version!), and the mix of styles just works so well.

I don't think they need progression, but agree there still wouldn't be that much in a short space of time. Their particular style lends itself to so much exploration that they could continue in the same vein for a while and still be interesting.

You certainly need a certain space and attitude of occupants for a Herakut to work well though. I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at a canvas if i had a good space for it.

Looks like they have had too much to do over too little time!
Anyway. I think their work are stunning. But might be hard to keep on producing orignals.
They should stick to doing quality not quantity!
