I sell it at gallery cost price. I know it's hard to framed but you could with a plexi uv in a shadow box. It's very impressive. In canada a framed like that cost 350 gbp and you need anything else in your room!!

I very much doubt that you can get a Herakut commision sized 160 x 200 cm for 3K.

you know- i did wonder if placing such a price on these might be construed by some forum members as blatant profiteering, the price is based on what I would want in order to part with them.

I rest easy knowing the charity still has the money i paid for them - which for a relatively unknown artist at the time was a fair wedge. It was top class of Herakut to donate all proceeds to charity and had more people been bidding on the night I'm sure the price would've been a bit higher.

Having enjoyed these two canvasses for a couple of years now I'm willing to part with them for what I hope/consider is a fair price - albeit potentially a bit 'over the odds' as you put it.

I think it would be better in an auction because even though you would have to pay them commission prices e.t.c Herakut isnt an artist in which people only like in England, there's Germany and many other countries also, i think its good that it been put on here first but if theres no sale in the end which there already should be because its now £2800, a pretty fantastic price for a Herakut that large it should go to somewhere like 'Phillips De Pury'.
