Ilmambo: That link and the diptych hit the nail on the head, I will be making an enquiry, at 8000 Euro's the price seems pretty good for 2 pieces that size and they would be perfect for the space I am looking to fill!!

Art would not be Art if it didn't promote differing emotions an opinions. I have to kind of agree that Herakut is dark, gothic, quite horrific and deep but that's why I love it!!
Great painting and the price is $7k not Β£7k so at Β£4.5k it is bang on estimate for an og right now.
Good luck with the sale, some serious stuff there, either a baby on the way, moving house or getting divorced!!

Lebasse is selling much larger canvas for that price (55x44). Between 5 and 6k sounds more realistic imo. I hope you'll find the right deal... nice painting for sure.
