I got there about 8ish was still pretty busy, hard to move in there! It's not the biggest space though so not too sure on actual numbers. I presume it would have been even more rammed at half 6 as well!

Stolenspace Gallery, by Stolenspace on Jan 29, 2009 15:57:45 GMT 1, 'An Honest Thief' a solo show by American street artist Brad Downey opens TONIGHT at our Dray Walk Gallery. All info here -
www.stolenspace.com/section.php?xSec=258
But...as if that wasn't enough, we will also be holding a book signing for Brad's new book on Saturday 31st, 1 - 3 pm -
'The Adventures of Darius and Downey' (and other True Tales of Street Art as told to Ed Zipco) Leon Reid IV and Brad Downey Thames & Hudson £16.95
Offers insight into the tough, tight-knit, and exciting world of street art. This book paints a portrait of a creative but harsh environment of extremes: friendship and rivalry; respect and conflict; adversity and prosperity; and, reveals the incredible risks that artists take, day in, day out, to win their place in the graffiti hall of fame.
This unique, narrative-driven book gives an unparalleled insight into the tough, tight-knit, exciting world of street art as seen through the eyes of Darius and Downey, who have been working together since 2000. Through a series of blood-pumping adventures, it paints a vivid portrait of a creative but harsh environment of extremes: friendship and rivalry; respect and conflict; adversity and prosperity; and, reveals the incredible risks that artists take, day in, day out, to win their place in the graffiti hall of fame. Ed Zipco, acute and empathetic commentator on the ways of the street, relates Darius' and Downey's most memorable experiences. Along the way, we witness their artistic evolution from conventional graffiti tagging to ambitious street installations that are both wittily entertaining and strikingly subversive.
