They're freehand, both the painted and collage pieces. I've always loved and worked with typography which is why I maybe gravitate closer than others...def worth a visit regardless though.

Stolenspace Gallery, by cyberkid on Jan 26, 2017 16:57:26 GMT 1, LOST OLYMPUS solo show by OKUDA
February 3rd – February 26th 2017 Opening Reception Thursday 2nd February, 6-9pm
ABOUT EXHIBITION StolenSpace is proud to present ‘Lost Olympus’ the new solo show by OKUDA. In ‘Lost Olympus’ OKUDA offers us a representation of the mythological idols and characters from ancient Greece as contemporary icons through his geometric structures, multi-coloured patterns and dreamlike scenes as part of his continuous reflection of our contradictions, longings, intuitions and beliefs. OKUDA’s work reflects a surreal world of geometric colour and pattern. Exploring existentialist contradictions, the meaning of life and the false freedoms of capitalism, his work has been classified as a kind of pop surrealism. A certain existential restlessness and a deep curiosity for the history of the different cultures that he finds in his way have led him to admire the form chosen in each of them to represent their gods, legends and myths as a repertoire of images and complementary concepts. Deities created to appease the dissatisfactions of society and the uncertainties of our existence that are projected from an infinite universe in which nature is our only certainty. Working in with spray paint, embroidery and sculpture, his work depicts deconstructed animals and bodies. Easily recognisable by his use of shape and colour, his work creates its own iconographic language. In 2015, OKUDA took on his biggest project to date, painting the entire inside of a former church as part of its transformation into a public skate-park. The scale and impact of the project its truly mesmerising, and we are excited to see him transform StolenSpace into part of his vivid world.

Gallery: Stolenspace Last seen: Swanning about shoreditch Cutomer Service: What’s that? Response time: Slower than Rementer print sales Fucks given: Zero Website server: Dial up 56k modem Haircuts: Trendy Clothing: 90s fusion Diet: Vegan
Seriously now, what the hell is going on. Need them to cancel a mistaken order due to their website adding it to cart automatically. Has anyone had any sort of reply from stolenspace in the last week since the dface release?
Possibly the worst customer service from a gallery recently, they used to be really on it when Beth was runing the show - Whats happened to that place? I know they are busy but you have to reply to people who are dropping £350 each at least on some paper.

I've not spoken to them in years but is Leon still there? He was always helpful. As a general point, I find it odd that any business would leave their normal business dealings to wander off to do some other project for a week without extra capacity. It happens all the time with galleries going to fairs and not employing extra temporary staff for the increased workload. In the past I've had galleries tell me they can't deal with my query until some event or other is over, which always strikes me as awful customer service.

Stolenspace Gallery, by gd79 on Oct 7, 2017 8:50:53 GMT 1, I emailed LAZ about a week before the invader drop about arranging delivery of a sage vaughn print as I was out a lot of days, and could imagine it just being left out in the rain. Still haven't received a response. The drop clearly took a lot of energy. The delivery showed up 2-3 weeks later, luckily when I was there

Stolenspace Gallery, by Deleted on Oct 7, 2017 9:57:17 GMT 1, I've always found Stolenspace to be very quick in responding to my emails, Beth in particular. Most recently was about a month ago so I can't comment on recent weeks. A phone call is always the best way I find if something needs to be addressed of a matter of importance.
Laz however haven't responded to any of my last 3 emails, probably as none were enquiring about buying art

Anyone know what's happening with them? There was a lot of talk about Janet Jackson and her Qatari billionaire husband buying a share but no recent news.

In the past I've had galleries tell me they can't deal with my query until some event or other is over, which always strikes me as awful customer service. The solvency of most art galleries is something that is balanced on a knife edge... It doesn't take much in terms of extra financial layout to put a gallery out of business. The facade of success and associations of 'high living' are often thinly veneered. Bringing in extra staff would impact the bottom line and make showing at art fairs not possible. Thus impacting them in the long term, as a lack of presence on the wider art scene, would remove them from competing in the ever evolving way in which art is bought and consumed. Within this context, one might begin to understand their willingness to accept a lower level of customer service for short periods to their patrons. Invariably low end patrons will likely be last to be prioritised for answering queries. Not a moral justification, just a reality.
Surely setting up their e-mail on their mobiles wouldn’t be a big ask? 😁

I've already forwarded your thread and the selling history of your eBay account "urbanartists" to get your order cancelled and you banned from any future sales. Thanks for making this so easy for me.
