Fully agree Carlito. It's all relative of course, but I don't want to get sucked into the frenzy of paying that much for a print that I've not seen in the flesh yet. However, there is the nagging doubt that I may eventually regret doing the sensible thing

I love a.m's work and now regret not hoovering in a bomber girl when i had a chance .
Decided to go for a WCIP - partly as it was the only one left , which must sound mental but with the way things are this print may actually prove cheap soon ! and for an edition of just 50 i just could'nt pass it up.

it's going to nigh on impossible to predict with prices going as they are lately.
Banksy prices continue to rise with each new release and the LA show really gave them all a kick as interest in him opened up to new people , both collectors and speculators.
A.M has been happily bobbling along and always had a strong following without the prices getting silly.
Even 6 weeks or so ago you could pick up a JD for about ยฃ 600 or less.
Then something happened and it went mad , a couple sold on ebay for just over a grand and suddenly this was the benchmark , that was until one went the other day for ยฃ 2,500
It would be interesting to know just how many of the LAZ prints were sold in the last week . Quite a lot i suspect as the price suddenly seemed less ridiculous .
ยฃ 4,700 is still a lot of money - a hell of a lot , but i would not expect them to fall much if at all for the time being.
Nobody could have guessed that Banksy's Grin Reaper would go from ยฃ 400 to ยฃ 6,000 + in 12 months and although the 2 artists are different having Laz as a " sponsor " will always mean that A.M is in the spotlight , not least for his exceptional work.
Anyway , to cut my rambling short I would expect the Laz prints to be fetching around ยฃ 10,000 by the end of the yr maybe.
If they don't , what the hell , only a small number of us will be the proud owners!! ;D

My favourite Micallef Laz print was BG followed by MW and as they had sold out before I acted, I didn't want to end up with my least favourite of the 3 just for the sake of owning one..  .....
But I might have secured my favourite Eyestorm variants instead - which are my favourite Micallef prints to date......fingers crossed again ;D
