Largely though other than delivering web orders the royal mail would have gone out of business years ago, plenty of private courier providers for important documents and the rest can go by email.

Prioritise Special Delivery services, although all guarantees will be suspended
Special Delivery will continue to be a priority throughout the period of disruption. We have well developed contingency plans, and will do all we can to deliver Special Delivery items on the due day. However, money-back guarantees will be suspended for items posted on 4th October onwards and will be reinstated as soon as we are sure we can fulfill the service promise
So SD is affected...

Yeah, can't wait to get mine, even sorted existing prints to make wall space, but LOVING all the hassle the flippers who have 'sold' must now be getting!! And to those who paid ยฃ1k+ on the same day as release, sorry but tough! You are the reason these people exist, should have hung on a few week!
Will be interesting if the same happens with Banksy's 'Trollies' Will any lessons be learned? Doubt it!
