OK, there will be a donation into the hunreds given to harveyn and ยฃ100 given to a dogs charity i have had contact with, they cant afford to heat the dogs pens this winter so might have to close.

I have to agree with you on this one. Hopefully this won't set a precident and next time Cartrain or whoever go out on the street with their 'free art' they don't have a gaggle of news reporters following them about. Just stinks of cheap publicity. Not very 'street' at all.

to be honest, I thought his print prices were in free fall the last few weeks....and now this.

I really thought the opposite would have happened but this definitely is beginning to look like it is putting upward pressure on his prices (hard not to with the publicity I suppose).

I don't believe for one minute 1000 were dropped, I think some people were tipped off and they certainly weren't dropped equally in each borough. I have only heard of pieces being found in central London. There is only one person that has done well out of this, and I feel he has stitched up alot of his 'fans'.
