If there were people there yesterday and today who were buying just to sell on I doubt thay would have gone for these two. So the only people who are buying these are collectors who love the images. That means less available on the resale market and higher prices when they do. Again Just MO.

I think elms did pretty well in the end to try and ensure everyone got a chance of buying one (apart of course from our transatlantic friends).

True. Although in one respect I can understand people buying two so they can sell one and afford to keep the other.

i understand that as well. it is how i could afford my applause, by selling my grannies. No way to have bought to prints today with the queue though unless you wanted to try your luck with one of the 1350 prints. Steep price for those ones and not as good as some of the others i thought. The 1 per person rule was also good to keep everyone happy

i must admit though being stuck in bristol the last few weeks has been frustrating. all be better when santas ghetto is held here this year.

The most amazing thing is the brush work, so minimal yet achieves so much with it, really amazing. Like a frustrated portrait artist love child of Bacon and Picasso with a love of sticking real life materials into the mix. I agree with pretty much everyone on here, you have to see it and this guy will be bloody huge in the future! Just wish he had originals on sale, I would have re-mortgaged.

Well done slowmo. I think Come On and Queen's Special are great. A bit diff from Adam's usual style but then what talented artist keeps their style sterile? I think they'll be growers.

it translates into a giclee really well IMO..better than say 'bigger picture' did as some of the detail is lost in that print like the words coming out of the tv
fantastic work, best this year by a mile for me
