I got an email saying it had been sent USPS with a tracking number. Sent on 11/8/08 like others have said.

Actually just checked the tracking site and it only says its been sent and wont be updated until delivery. Hopefully I'll know its been delivered, or it means I typed my own address wrong

Looks like customs have got hold of mine and its now on its way to the parcelfarce office till I pay the vat and parcelfarce's rip off fees

Well as Parcelforce are dealing with it its an 8ukp or 13.50ukp "handling" fee
and then it should just be vat on top with no customs fees (more tax) The vat is chargeable on the postage costs too so lets say $100 for print $30 for actual postage costs =$130
which is roughly 65 quid = 11.35vat plus the handling fee

Either 19 quid or 25 quid........yay!

Now you might not get charged I must of ordered over 50 prints from the USA and this is the 3rd time I have been charged (most being worth round the 40-60 quid mark)

Out of the 3 I am expecting from the states 2 have now got charges pending....so its luck of the draw I guess

Get your tracking number you got from Andenken and try it on usps.com and then try it on parcelforce.com if its in the country it will work on the parcelforce website and it then pops up with their own code which you then re-enter and will give you some more details.
When I tried mine on usps.com toaday it said "attempted delivery at 4:47am"!

thats when I tried it on the parcelforce site and thats where I got the extra info about that customs had caught it and are charging me for it and that it was at the parcelforce depot.

So no doubt I will get a letter tomorrow sayin that I need to pay up before it is delivered

I hope they all dont get stuck in customs, maybe should have had the $0 gift box ticked just for a print? Bit of luck may slip through.

Got charged but print is with me now and better IMO than I had heard.

I had similar with those muppets at parcelforce.....paid the charge on tueday online rearranged delivery for the wednesday and nothing came then phoned them at about 4:30 on thursday and I asked them where it was and the first thing they asked was if I had paid online and she explained that the system is screwy and had not processed but she assured me it would be there friday. turned up at about 5pm on friday so it took 6 days to get from Denver to the Uk and then 7 days to do 30 miles once parcelfarce got involved!

Mine arrive last Friday also but only picked it u yesterday. Didn't have to pay any tax. Can't wait to open it tonight.

You should contact Andenken sputnik, most UK prints got over the other week including customs. Mine's grown on me, nice proportions. A few on the bay last one went for £170

My friend sold his for £173-50 on the bay and one just went for only £112-00. An A/P remained unsold the other day at a starting bid of only £130-00. Quite differing results! Me... I'm getting mine framed very soon. rsyok is liking his more. Nice to hear! IMO it's a great, very low numbered print! If you've got one, frame it and put in on your wall. It will look even better. I promise. Just while i'm on the subject a work colleague just purchased the 'Corked Tasty P' with cool purple and blue hand-coloured shutter. Great corking piece. I was well jealous. Nice one Emma.
