It's Acrylic, Emulsion and spray paint on wood. I must admit, I did get some funny looks when I pulled out my brushes but order was restored when I got the spray cans out!

Your joking aren't you? i clutched my brush like a teddy bear for comfort. Working with cans though was a first for me really and I loved it.
I thought it was acryllic. Boldness of the markls and the clarity of the colour are great. Proper faith. Its great to see a mix. Inevitiable in my opinion. Neo-celebration marches on.

Yeah me too - just turned the corner and just a shaft of light at the end of the tunnel lit up the skull. Looked superb.
Reminded me of the old Powell Peralta days.

Great photos Silky.
Ahhh the blue gas chamber Schlomo, it was either being gassed out in there or joining the 'chase the stencil' fun in the wind outside!
Regarding the arse cheek incident... I think I may have seen a photo of the special moment on Flickr, will try and find it again for everyone's delictation

Would have loved to have stuck around longer but it was my girlfriend's birthday on Sunday so I was juggling the two a bit.

Yeah, the skull was in a back room at the Garage
I was thinkin it might have been a good idea to go on the Sunday as it would have given the Artists more time to have finished their pieces off but was surprised to still see loads going on ;D
Still lots of space for artists to do stuff down by the bridge.

Upfest • Street Art Graffiti Festival , by xtinaw on Jun 8, 2009 15:59:50 GMT 1, Oh... don't know how we missed that then. It was a bit packed in there when I was in there though. It was hard to dodge the graffers and there stuff!
Yeah I'd have liked to have gone back on the Sunday too. Seems as though some pieces may have got painted over and reworked too. Whilst I was watching Inkie and Hush a guy was painting over an attempt at a peace sign with white paint. That and I think a lot of the boards got changed from what I have seen on other people's pics.
Was anything going on near the city centre? I saw on the map that there was an artist livespace? We didn't venture that way though. Hope I didn't miss out on anything!

Upfest • Street Art Graffiti Festival , by idiom on Jun 8, 2009 17:29:18 GMT 1, We had a great day (despite the ever constant threat of rain) and managed to get our piece finished with a little time to spare. It was nice to put a few faces to names - but that weren't that many people down by the river (as our piece was too big to fit into the garage!) There are a couple of in progress shots on our flickr if anyone's interested...
Cheers
