Upfest • Street Art Graffiti Festival , by Deleted on Jun 5, 2011 23:40:41 GMT 1, Big disapointment with upfest11 this year im afraid to say Too much Quantity than quality 
It was the atmosphere and spirit that i loved about the event. Getting out the house catching up with friends. Some banging Beatboxers, Drum and Bass coming at you from every angle. Some cool art too. There was so much your never going to have it all being top quality.
I saw some amazing stuff amongst some average, but thats what the streets are like all the time.
Mr Jagos piece outside the view gallery is wicked, Herakut's(been said before, but i'll say it again wicked and so much more I could mention that I liked.
Each to their own though  .
Bought myself a nice little canvas for a great cause and because i love the image too.
Also went to my little sisters wedding today, which was great. So a top weekend all round.

Spent much of the time with Pahnl, Schlomo, Stickee, Dellboyy, Nol, Bens Slow and loads of other artists. Great to spend time with Slammer again. Lots of chats with AP, SPQR and so many others. Loads more doodles in the lads book! Will always stay over from now on - staying for the night/beer was so much better. Even had a beer and a chat with Hera and Akut - both utterly charming. I find it very strange that such a well attended event as this has just over 2000 views, whilst some sale threads get the same amount.
more forum members really should make the effort to travel to Bristol for the event. Its getting stronger each year.

One of the nicest people you could hope to meet. A gent and a hoot. Spent almost all of Saturday day time with him and Pahnl. Great fun.

klingatron looked sharp. loved that comic book style thing near it. what was the piece near it with all the famous letters?
i think alot of artists find it hard to decide whether to rehash old images or go with a large scale mural.
anyone see that marks bread shop??? that bread was amazing. and pretty cheap too. def go THERE again.
