Upfest • Street Art Graffiti Festival , by Whitefish on Jul 30, 2018 12:57:35 GMT 1, I blame the weather  but really it was pretty intense weather-wise I saw quite a few abandoned and pieces that were rush finished heading back to belfast today to have a bath and a massive sleep but i will try get a few pictures up later well done to everyone who came and took part

Upfest • Street Art Graffiti Festival , by rjf76 on Jul 30, 2018 13:19:54 GMT 1, I think for viewers, weather was ok - proper sunshine and showers but for artists, can see that it was really tough. Quite a few abandoned pieces, including some big walls.
Was a great weekend though and saw some fantastic pieces, if like some said, a little samey sometimes (lots of female heads looking up/down!)
Had some good chats with Leo Boyd, Annatomix, 8Mail, Guy Denning and Irony...oh, and AP😘

We were a bit pushed for time but chanced that South Street Park would be open later on as was closed when we first went up there at 1pm.
was going to come and say hello but you'd just picked up a spray can and looked hard at work and the clouds were looking threatening so I gathered you'd be better off working rather than being bothered by someone in a green waterproof with a tired kid in tow.
Your piece looked ace Leo.

I mean they were good, it was a great piece, but what these people were expecting them to be able to do on a coat I don't know
needless to say it smudged as they took it of to have a look at straight away
the odeith piece definitely works better on a photograph, but guess that's the brain trying to make sense of a flat image looking 3d, whereas in real life it is a 3d image looking flat, if you see what I mean

My wife paints at the festival as Paint.ily - she was on the Green again
It was a shame the huge wall half way down North Street wasn't done again this year - always get something amazing on that.

I'm guessing it's just done  Yeah I left and went home, wasn't spending more time and money standing in the rain all day, only for it to happen again.
It was looking really good, such a shame, some people are just total w**kers, who have no respect for other peoples work.

In our opion he's well and truely an established artist.
