Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by shower on Dec 16, 2008 11:45:52 GMT 1, absolute tit wank, just got on here at work after having an early night and i missed all the fun! props to POW for satisfying the americans while also allowing others to blag one too. still havnt got one, missed out on the lottery and missed out last night, i love the image but onviously it wasnt meant to be (again)! one day il own a banksy!
i am suprised at the amount of people on here either having a dig at pow because they didnt get one or the amount of people only seemingly replying at posts around a release date! i thought pow handled everything pretty well, maybe security around how many lotto tickets you could buy could have been enforced more strickly as its been suggested that people bought more than 20 but that may have been taking place behind the scenes, we just dont know. all in all im fucked right off that i missed out again, great image, great print but thats life!

Still, would look awesome if framed with love, nice black frame, clean white(or match to print) mount, it will look really sharp.

When i first joined it was a cool place for like minded people to share opinions and advice. Admitedly there was not this mass hysteria surrounding the scene as a whole but very rarely was there bitching and very little discussion of money!
Flipping was more than scorned upon and most members tried to help out one another. If someone had tried to quickly turn a piece for profit they would have got slaughtered!
Now it seems to be almost acceptable for people to buy because they think that they can make a bit of money from a print  . Plus the people that tried for so long to try and discourage flippers, got shouted down so many times they left, or have just given up
We can help the situation simply by not buying of them. I do not beleive anyone was so desperate for NOLA or VLH that they have to have it up within days of release, it would be nice sure, but surely they should be bought by people who want the work up for years so what does the matter of a a couple of months make?
So do not buy of the Flippers, we make life to easy for them. let there credit card bills come in and eventually they will have to sell just to pay the bills and they will not be demanding a 1000% mark up then.

These people have caused me to waste in excess of 100 hours over the past couple of years hitting the f5 button, seriously last night was the last time.
I am happy with the Banksy work I have on my walls, but it all stops here for me, plenty of other great artists out there with work that is readily available!
