DID YOU WIN?, by alsbabar on Dec 9, 2008 23:28:05 GMT 1, I didnt win either, yes sure I am gutted, but remember the money raised was for a great cause - over £20,000 in lottery tickets sales over the weekend and nearly £250,000 from the sale of the Micallef and Banksy prints - so spend a moment thinking about how much joy and assistance this money will bring to those who need it. So well done to all who won, enjoy the moment, and well done for contributing.

DID YOU WIN?, by darrenrapley on Dec 9, 2008 23:28:25 GMT 1, So you bought 40 tickets instead of 20 and cheated someone who did buy 20 out of a fair shake to win? And you were one of the biggest moaners when your order looked like it was going to be bumped from the friday nola orders. SHUT UP! I bought 20 tickets and put my wifes name on 1 of them for good luck. Paid off too!

DID YOU WIN?, by jamo on Dec 9, 2008 23:30:26 GMT 1, Here's my story from 9 December:
I got an e mail from POW at approx. 5pm and it said I was amongst the '125' names qualifying for first refusal on the 'Very Little Helps' print. It was like I'd won the lottery for 5 mins. Anyway, I entered my details and the confirmation of print and number came up as Micallef 'Bethlehem' number XXX.....
I was frantic and upon closer inspection, I saw that the e mail title was 'Antony Micallef Bethlehem'. I managed to get hold of Simon at POW pretty soon afterwards and he said that I had been allocated the Bethlehem print and not the Banksy and that this was an error. He was very apologetic but it was obviously not destined to be.
After a few minutes of disappointment I realised how lucky I was with the Mic print - it's a great image, a smaller edition and it's a cracking result if you ask me (NB I put 10 tickets in the Banksy draw and 5 in each Mic.)
There you have it. I now know what it's like to get a Banksy signed print. In a lottery. For 5 minutes. Then lose it. But then get a nice consolation prize.
It's been a good day. I'm sorry for those out there who havn't 'won'. I'm really pleased for those of you who got 'Every Little Helps'. And thank you to POW for actually answering the phone at such a busy time and helping to explain things.
P.S. The Bethlehem print number is a very cool one too.... P.S.S. You gotta love the tiny Paul Insect 'Who To Believe' Pinnochio character in the image!

DID YOU WIN?, by illy on Dec 9, 2008 23:38:18 GMT 1, lots of bitter people moaning again... blah blah blah... I'm currently unemployed from being made redundant and having to consider moving overseas for work as my industry is fooked!!!!! I wish I had a bloody job nevermind a fookin picture. In the current economic crisis, is a screenprint really that important?.... tens of thousands being reposessed, tens of thousands losing jobs, tens of thousands in poverty and tens of thousands struggling to keep warm this Christmas... some of you, just grow up!
RANT OVER.

DID YOU WIN?, by snausages on Dec 9, 2008 23:44:55 GMT 1, YES! Just checked the wifes email inbox - got a Banksy!! Woohoo!!!! So you bought 40 tickets instead of 20 and cheated someone who did buy 20 out of a fair shake to win? And you were one of the biggest moaners when your order looked like it was going to be bumped from the friday nola orders. Thanks mrs moral police. I mean is there anyone on this forum you haven't chastised?
First you're assuming things and second so what even if he bought tickets for his wife. Someone bought tickets for you from the sound of things. You just increased the odds for all those who did take the effort to make it to POW.
