Some may say the new banksy is a comment on the demand for his work and modern art in general. But really is he not just slagging off the people who've put him where he is !
The edition is huge, the image is nothing special - and not by any means a classic banksy. Why are people putting up with is shit any more?

I'd only like to add, I'm guessing people will have read the description that POW gave the morons image:
"Banksy makes a cr*p picture about how people pay a lot of money for cr*p pictures, which someone then ends up paying a lot of money for. A portion of irony eating itself, anyone?"
Says it all, I think. I love the concept of this piece. As I said previously, this whole debate just fuels the flames and gives the work even more impact!

I've got Grannies and Applause and like them both, I think Grannies being the better of the two IMO.

Oh, I forgot about Flag, I've got that too, I like it.
It's not a very complicated print being halftone screened and single colour, but the image is great and the silver paper adds something special IMO.

Where'd you get that idea?
A lot of people like their Flag prints and theres many in the Get Your Banksy's Out thread framed up, the frames probably cost as much or more than the print, so that shows a liking for it I think.
