D*Face In Dog We Trust Canvas, by wiz on Mar 12, 2009 11:30:54 GMT 1, To be honest Lampsy, and i know you will be aware of this as you know how the markets work, i am never surprised at bidding up and shilling at any auction, in my fifty years of attending and dealing through auction houses in UK and Europe i have come to expect it at sales so i only ever pay what i think something is worth to me. Conversely if i have ever sold something at a sale which was obviously struggling for one reason or another then i have welcomed the odd bit of help from Mr. lightswitch and Mrs. Wall to get the bidding going,

Due to the previous listing confusing some potential buyers with a BIN price and a reserve, I have decided to re list without a BIN price or reserve. This way I can start a fresh auction no reserve, what the auction makes will give a fair valuation and 10% goes to charity.

Its taken me this amount of time to get the charges & fees removed from my account. Its not so much a problem of buyer location more of buyers actually paying. We use TNT at work so would prefer to just send through them within the UK, they're pretty reliable. I dont want a damaged canvas thrown back at me from a buyer half way accross the globe... then try and put a claim in from the Royal Mail
