It IS a lot of money and this forum does have a limited market. I still would like to see this go to someone on this forum rather than auction/gallery. I’ve also had more PMs with more “serious” questions/interest. I’m hopeful this does sell by end of next week. Money is green regardless of source. If the payout is the same, does it being a gallery matter? Why does it have to be a UAA member? Money = money

Sadly, none. Just an advocate for the entities furthering the arts. Buyin and trading here on UAA doesn’t move the needle one iota. It’s the galleries and museums that are doing the advocacy and cv development. I respect what they do. That’s all.

Same. It used to be great on here 9-10 years ago. Lots of passionate street art fans and Banksy knowledge. Now it’s like an investment forum where people compare portfolios. That’s progress, I guess.

when the beejoir shell for oil came 12 years or so ago, all those ‘knowledgable’ members where pointing on ebay prices.
i cant believe someone will pay that on ebay for it, blah blah rubbing hands.
repeat until today. No one in their right mind spends 10k in a piece of paper and pretends its for the art. No one.

Hi all. I posted this print for sale on 27-FEB-2019 as stated below. Within a couple hours of posting, I was advised by a very honest art dealer I've used previously, who is well known and respected within the Banksy community, that I should have the blemish restored by a professional paper conservationist. This he recommended, should be done before selling the print.
I have since had it restored and I am pleased to say that all is now in perfect order.
This being said, the asking price will remain at £50K. COA and all relevant documentation are in hand, for solid provenance. Please, no low-ball offers, as I won’t waste your or my time in responding.
I'm looking for a simple and smooth transaction. The first agreement reached, will be honoured. This is a gazumping free zone and underhanded tactics are a no go for me.

Hi all. Looking to sell my Nola (Grey Rain). Made a few swaps recently with a few other Banksy and Hirst prints and I've again been bitten by the change bug. I have had the good fortune of owning a few pieces for quite some time and the time feels right to freshen up things again.
The print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity by Pest Control, which is registered to me. The print was originally framed by Gary at Mister FrameMan when I took ownership in 2011 and was recently professionally removed for the picture above. It goes without saying, it has been framed to the highest conservation standards, for which Gary is known.
It is in overall good condition, however, it should be noted that there is a small blemish to the left middle of the print measuring approximately 1 cm in length.
Taking the above into consideration, offers above £50K would be accepted. Please, no low ball-offers. DM me if you would like to discuss further. Looking for a simple and straightforward sale.
Note:
I am based in the UK, but willing to ship internationally at the Buyer’s cost and risk, via Flight Logistics. All costs associated with the import of the print into your country are the Buyer’s liability.
