I must admit that knowing that there are not going to be any prints released has made my visit to Bristol tomorrow seem a lot more enjoyable.
My drive there will be more leisurely, I will be able to look around at my pace and then be able to see any remaining upfest bits without that 'oh my God, am I missing a queue' feeling.
I will be wearing shorts and Hawaiian shirt. Say hi if you see me.

banksy is big money, they will be tens of thousands and only for sale if you know the right people or turn up to PC with a bag full of cash..

Banksy Bristol City Museum Show, by rrrich on Jun 12, 2009 16:07:42 GMT 1, yeh i cant imagine that 'nothing is for sale' being at all true. instead it probably stops pest control being bombarded with thousands of emails from people thinking they can get a bargain. like quite a few of the laz prints (bethlehem photos, nola rain colourways), these will probably only become available through auction in time and thats when most of us will be first aware that stuff was sold.

But this is Banksy, when has he done anything conventionally? We know with the Bethlehem show all the proceeds were kept local, perhaps something similar will happen again.
