Banksy Bristol City Museum Show, by mammal on Jun 16, 2009 21:22:09 GMT 1,  ignoring its brilliance for a second does the execution of this seem weird to anyone else? if id have randomly seen it on flickr or something i wouldnt have placed it as banksy (apart from the similar handwriting)
I know its really easy to say since the pic is in his show, but I would have said BANKSY straight from the off. I know easy to say now. Ha. This african work just blows my mind. I feel like getting a plane just to see it. The more I think about this show, the more I know that he is simply a great great artist with few peers. IMO of course.

Unfortunately the rich were only interested in the cheaper works, which didn't leave much for the poorer collectors."
Maybe the rich bought the cheaper works just to put the remaining more expensive works out of the reach of the poor people? thus leaving the rest for themselves to peruse over grapes and pink champagne whilst noshing on a Quayles egg?.

The show will probably run for 2-3 weeks giving everyone suitable time to make arrangements to go. If you want to go, get up off your arse, switch off your computer and join the real world. If you dont want to go, then fine, dont go! This is supposedly a 'banksy' forum so I would have thought everyone would do whatever they could to go and see / support our favourite artist. But some will still hide behind their PC mumbling about they couldnt go as their mum wouldnt let them / their essay has to be in on Monday.
