Banksy Bristol City Museum Show, by ilikekittens on Jun 18, 2009 19:32:27 GMT 1, there's no way the museum will produce any souvenirs of their own accord - he's a brand now following the footsteps of mr hirst. Taking that into account it is surprising there is nothing for sale.
I did rummage through the shop card section in the hop something might have been 'altered' or stuck in - nothing.
Just the museum guide.

Agreed. Being as the museum isn't actually putting on the show (just hosting), they wouldn't be able to sell anything banksy in the shop. Bet they had a bloody good go though!
Being as B is now his own brand, wouldn't they have to have his/ PC/ POW's consent to even use any of his imagery on some typical gift shop tat?

Banksy Bristol City Museum Show, by baileymontana on Jun 18, 2009 21:57:57 GMT 1, Went to Bristol today. Took day of work, left early and sun shining then got a puncture! Got there eventually after 5 hours. Was worth the hassle. Highly recommended.
What you see online is no way as good as seeing it in real life. The Pet Store is really amazing. I'd never notice the hatching eggs are scrambled online.
The mixture of people there gives it a really good energy. I wondered how it would feel to see Banksy in an official place but it worked well. Especially upstairs where his work is alongside other artists who were obviously part of the establishment. You get the feeling they'd be disappointed Banksy had his work alongside theirs....which makes it all the better.
The "Peaches Aid" and other photos from Africa really prove that Banksy wants to hit up the whole world....next stop for him has got to be Afghanistan.
All in all an excellent day out.
