Just back from my two day trip to Bristol and totally falbbergasted.. what a show! this was for me absolute worth the trip.. came there tuesday with my mate.. we got our selves pissed in no time (the beer is so cheap there!) in a place called the white hatle (or something like that) and a nice pub with very odd music (there's a picture of that pub in wall and piece) and wednesday we went queing in the pooring rain for two hours at least.. but is was well worth it! not happy that the postcards sold out yet  but that was the only - for that day (and the weather  !)
facourite piece? MP? eggs? tweety? just dont know.. blown away!

Banksy Bristol City Museum Show, by spenie1975 on Jul 30, 2009 21:38:29 GMT 1, Cracking day out, set off at 08.30 and got back at 20.00. Queued for about 1 1/2 hours so not all that bad. Loved the paintings and the studio, was quite busy so couldn't spend as long as I would have liked looking in there. Disappointed with the pet shop as a lot had stopped working, my daughter wasn't impressed. Too much to take in for just one visit and felt like I was in everybodys camera shot if you got to close. Would love to visit again but too far to travel,well worth the journey though. By the way postcards are back in stock.

HAte to say it, but its true. If you haven't allowed time for queueing then don't bother, waited 2 and a half hours yesterday, but well well worth it.

I can't believe that this show is still so popular; 6 weeks on and the queues continue to grow. I was hoping to pop down next weekend for a second look but not sure I'll have time.

Hey hlarmy - I went for the second time a little over a week ago, cos I wanted to take the kids.
We got there around 1pm. We had to q for around 2 hours, which was ok as it wasnt raining. I expect the q's are long now because it's school holidays. I def wanted to avoid going at the weekend.
The show was very much worth the wait.
