There was no mention of keeping anything quiet/secret, just a request to quote some of my posts from the thread about the 1,000 print drop in London. So far as "the big bad gallery" is concerned, I think that's possibly a bit wide of the mark here, as Fiona specifically refered to selling the book "at cost" and used the phrase, "not for profit."

We are working on a printed book, on behalf of the artist, Adam Neate, documenting his exhibition 'The London Show' on 14th November 2008, when he left 1000 works throughout London.
You may recall that you contributed some posts to the Banksy Forum thread entitled "ADAM NEATE - 1000 Print Give Away (formerly โHeads Up Adam Neate in the Independentโ)
We are writing to ask your permission to reproduce some of your posts in the planned book to help illustrate the impact of Adamโs exhibition and the responses it generated. We are planning a limited edition book of 1000 copies, which will be sold at cost, not for profit. However, we may at a later date produce further copies of the book if demand requires it.
The book will take the form of an academic review of the exhibition.
We shall look forward to hearing from you,

why should I say no to elms? (I didnt).. They gave Adam so much chances for exploring his potential.. and they make very good books.. this one even should be "academic".. very interesting

So I replied that it was OK to use them... have I missed something, what's with the secrecy/conspiracy thing? Nowhere in the PM did it say keep this to yourself! So why would Elms be thought of as a big bad gallery?
