Crating is expensive and shipping of a crate not cheap either - which has put off UK based buyers.

I was at the show when they released these, was a lot of fun. I remember it very well, record breaking number of screens etc....

I bought a white, which is still on the wall. Its number 2 of 25. Number 1 I was told Ben kept of the white black and gold, as I asked for number 1 when they asked what number from the edition I wanted....

I also bought one of the 1/1's available showing each stage of the printing process but sold it due to having the white and frankly one a-z with a missing W was enough....

Anyway, great print, great show. I chatted to Don a lot about his work, I wonder what happened to him? I still have his crying queen which he painted for me somewhere....

Finally managed to purchase a Numbers Shutter Font AP for less than I expected. Stoked.

Now on HOLD

Contrary to some I think this is a timeless piece and a huge Eine pickup for someone.*   I'll wager that its value is four figures easily, especially with what looks like a very decent framing job. As for Eine canvasses - they don't hold up particularly well in the secondary market (despite being sensational pieces in the flesh/canvas) as don't many of his prints but the classics (like this) will always have a market. Shutter is also his most sought after font.

Good luck with your sale and many congratulations on your new addition. I know you're thinking of selling but have you considered gifting it to your son as a birth gift and it being on his wall.  As he gets older you can talk to him about your love of art, explain how it got there, how much you treasure him having it, the alphabet and why a 'W' is missing, the mathematical laws of geometry and why a 'W' is missing and you can, also in time, perhaps speak of how it might serve as a reminder of his responsibility to treat women and especially girlfriends and wives as he would wish to be treated himself. If there's any Child Benefit incoming, perhaps divert a part of it each month into a fund as payment until, say £1k has been amassed to notionally pay you back.  Who knows it might even be the start of a small collection you are able to amass for him.

These are just thoughts and you've probably covered them off in your own mind already and, of course I know nothing of your finances, so please just take these as well meant ramblings. I mean no offence, only want to, once again, say congratulations at this happy time and I hope the piece works for you in whatever way it's most valuable.
