Nick Walker - Show - BRP - 28th May, by craigf on May 28, 2009 21:55:02 GMT 1, Really enjoyed the show, not too long a queue, a few cheeky beers, good company and a very nice retrospect of Nick's work. Was good to meet the man himself and chat for a few minutes (Matt Small was also around)
As for someone flipping already that really takes the biscuit!

Personally i thought it was good but not great, i got one of the prints which i thought was actually much better in the flesh than the pics. Some good originals from 500 up, some not so good ones! Highlight was actually chatting to nick for a bit, he signed a book for the missus which will hopefully make her feel better for missing it. Another well organised tidy event from BRP, kudos.....

I like the simplicity of the prints - I for one much prefer them to tma's.

the bird on the lampost split over two really stand out...would have loved to have went... spent time in the queue and speaking to people there always makes the shows for me and think would have been more than happy i did go from the looks of some of the art pieces there... congrats NW/BRP... so which lucky person got the cutterfly??...s
