I guess three stencils were used, one with the rat blacked out totally. Must have been tricky placing the other rat stencil on the same place as the first white space silhouette, exactly, for 75 prints.

Rather than spending all that time looking for examples of a this print framed up... you can see and post examples in this thread! This will allow everyone on the board to have a look at what other people have done with each print to see how different mats, frames, and mountings look for each individual print. This should be a good way to save time from searching all over, plus it will give you some nice ideas for your Banksy!
Feel free to add photos of your framed example in each of the appropriate threads, there is a "Framed" thread under each print listed in the 'Banksy Limited Edition Prints' section. To keep each thread manageable and on topic, please refrain from commenting. Also, remember to resize images that may be oversized so everyone can have a proper look at your framing work!

Spot on Mate even taking into account a late wave of bidding activity I was seriously considering pulling at as I was not prepared to let it go for that amount...You have to do it with at least 12 hours to go though.
What finally made me do it was the last bidder on it who had just been left 2 negative strikes and the fact that some dozy tozzer decides to list another 1 before my 1 had finished ( Wont people ever learn ) and had also nicked my image..I will be getting that pulled though

Radar Rat has to be one of my fave's so you is a lucky mucker to have one. Selling it though, ouch, I would want to part with it.

Like most auctions if the seller isnt happy with how it is going or the price then he doesnt have to sell it...If anyone was really interested In buying It then nothing stops them from emailing me ,like some have allready done.
Artificail had one listed at £7K and it had a higher number , A signed Bomb hugger went for £4K and that was a run of 150 .
I am not desperate to sell it at any price Just at The right price

hi I bought a radar rat a while ago and was just wondering if anyone new what it was worth? not looking to sell -love it it bits- but was curious- haven't seen one on ebay for over six months. ta Been keeping an eye out for a while for Radars, late december early Jan the going price for a private sale was 6-7.5K, this seems to have increased to 10-12K for a private sale and a good deal more if through a gallery ( 12-20K), count yourself VERY lucky to have one, I am a very deep shade of envious green you lucky lucky ducky. PLEASE post some pics with it framed. |
