Thanks for that, oddly enough I only discovered Hecox through being compared to him a few times, think its the use of colour, you can't beat grey and orange!

Thanks levi c, I guess it was created as a kind of response to how I was feeling at the time, it marked a new standard in my Artwork where I felt confident to start upping my game even further. It's the whole idea of playtime being over and now is the time to move on and get damn serious!

Cheers for that, took a while, first painted in Acrylic and Krink, then spattered with 4 colours of spray paint before the final dots are added Least they weren't big!

I know I have, after listening to the news and reading the paper the other day I was feeling a bit down, I sat in my studio and there on my cutting mat were 2 flies, going at it hammer and tongs completely oblivious to anything!
Made me decide to create the pieces below as a bit of fun to swap with fellow Artists -
They were a big hit so I decided to create a small edition on paper to give away to forum members in the hope of cheering us all up! Please note that this is open to everyone
'Musca domestica copulation'
Edition of 20
Spray paint on 300gsm Langton paper
4 x 5"
Each one is hand sprayed and I will be giving 10 away randomly to forum members. Simply reply to this thread and I will put you in the draw for one. Will be picking the names out of a hat Tues evening @ 8pm
