I wouldn't say it's bold, it's what my work usually goes for and has sold consistently at that. Practically every piece I do is a unique one off so I don't have lots of large lower priced editions to make a living from.
I do appreciate it might not be within everyone's budget but that's why I produce a variety of work from small drawings and paintings on cardboard, all the way up to large paintings like this

They are being framed and will be on show at the 20/21 Art fair at the end of the week along with my other work - stand No.7 (David Lilford fine art)

Just got back from the Art fair at the Royal College of Art, did anyone from here go? What did you think?
It was interesting, I noticed an awful lot of the galleries seemed to be focusing on smaller pieces and prints as opposed to larger unique paintings. Maybe a reflection on the current market but what do people think, would you rather see larger works on display or smaller, cheaper pieces?

Completely agree, it can be a bit safe and stuffy but i think that can be down to the Royal College influence, lots of blue blazers with gold buttons and rugby shirts were in evidence
