Interested to hear people's views on pricing

In general thought it was reasonable considering the possible interest from beyond our little urban art world. A few bargains as well. The Ron English was the only one that seemed expensive to me. Liked the M City and the Sixten.

interesting i found the prices on the whole to be too high for the standing of the artists / work, but as you correctly point out this is playing to a totally different audience to that usually associated with them. Generally disappointed by the work other than M City's and found the whole linkage to an ageing pop punk group a little sad if I'm honest - whats next? Dface does Celine Dion?

Thought it was a pretty good show on the whole. Prices perhaps still overall a little on the high side for some pieces and artists but also some were pretty reasonable in my view.

Liked the Logan Hicks stencils in terms of style, precise execution etc. but wouldn't pay £5000 to have Green Day on the wall - like their music but not that much! Something commissioned in that style would pretty good though.

The Will Barras canvas was my pick of the bunch.

If nothing else, it was fun to take in a different style of show.

Went back for a second look today, a couple more pieces including the Logan Hicks had sold.

I believe the Eelus was the first piece to sell?

I'm perfectly chilled thanks. If you read my comment it's extremely neutral. Nex's comment was reasonable and just seemed a strange thing for you to say that it's not 'that kind of show' when things are for sale. *shrugs*

Eelus was sold first, by quite a way. Probably before the show even opened!?
Wasn't until the booze was flowing later that Logan Hicks, Meggs, Sixten, and I was told M-City, sold.

I'd say many pieces were priced a little high, but the connection with Green Day must count for something.
